Assignment Description SELECTION FOR CONSULTANTS BY THE WORLD BANK GROUP REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Electronic Submissions through World Bank Group eConsultant2 https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1274142 - SOCIAL ACCOMPANIEMENT TO BOVIMA OUT GROWER PROGRAM Assignment Countries: - Madagascar ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION IFC supports BOVIMA in elaborating and roll out of a farmer out-grower program for feed commodities and cattle supply that integrates at least 5000 farmers and serves as a model for the industry. IFC aims to create replicable models for pilot villages working with Bovima on a contractual basis and in a win-win approach. For the implementation, IFC will work with a technical team on the ground and needs social expertise for the implementation. The objective of this assignment is to assure the continuity of the social accompaniment of approx. 2000 villagers in 6220 pilot villages already preparing for the cooperation with Bovima defined in the 2nd mission but would be extended to other villages identified with Bovima. The scope consists of three components: I. The provision of a Mission Leader/ Social Expert, II. The provision of Social Mobilizers, III. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
