Description:
The services provided consist in carrying out the studies of the implementation of SOFT infrastructure essential to define and set up between the port of Toliara and the port of Beira of Mozambique to further improve the interconnection between these two ports in order to facilitate and streamline trade between the countries of the Indian Ocean and Africa. To this end, the expected results of this mission are limited to: in -depth analysis of the existing soft infrastructure in the port of Toliara and in the port of Beira by highlighting strengths and weaknesses and identifying the main obstacles or problems encountered in Port management processes, the coordination of activities and stakeholders at the port, communication between actors, etc.; Identification of soft infrastructure to be implemented between the port of Toliara and the port of Beira. Here we mean by soft infrastructure the non -physical systems and technologies, the different procedures and regulations (ports, customs, etc.) and the management tools that make it possible to improve the connectivity and operational efficiency of the ports.
