Description:
The overall objective of the services is to identify and/or formulate and/or develop a system which will ensure the sustainability and durability of the road infrastructure built within the framework of PDCID I and PDCID II through the strengthening of an upkeep and maintenance system to allow beneficiaries to fully benefit from the effects and impacts of the investments made in a sustainable manner. Specifically, it involves studying, identifying and analyzing the strategies, actors, mechanisms, methodologies and systems to be put in place to ensure the sustainability and durability of road infrastructure created within the framework of the PDCID I and II program. The results of the study, estimated to take around 3.5 months, are to be presented in a Manual/Guide describing the strategies, actors, approaches, methodology, mechanisms to ensure programming, planning, financing, institutional set-up and implementation of maintenance operations for the sustainability of road infrastructure (rural roads) implemented or to be implemented within the framework of the PDCID I and II program.
