- The United Nations World Food Program, hereinafter referred to as "WFP", is the leading humanitarian organization that saves and changes lives, provides food assistance in emergency situations and works with communities to improve nutrition and strengthen resiliencethis, helping nearly 100 million people in approximately 83 countries each year. Around 17,000 people work for the organization, most in remote areas, directly serving the hungry and poor. WFP Madagascar country office seeks to pre-select companiesbuilding and public works for the execution of one or more civil engineering infrastructure projects in different regions of southeastern Madagascar. The aim of this AMI is to identify suppliers with the technical and financial capacity is verified to carry out the workconstruction sites described in the AMI in different regions of southeastern Madagascar. Eligible companies will be invited to participate in the tender process for the proposed contract. Companies will have the opportunity to compete for one (01) single lot or for all of thethree (03) lots. Participation in the proposed contract will be determined according to the qualification of the companies which will be based on the analysis and verification of the information included in the construction company submission files in relation to the PAM requirements appearing in thetable 1 of the AMI response form. Once the deadline for submission of responses has expired, WFP will review the responses received and notify eligible participants of the results of the assessment. To participate in the pre-qualification exercise, any interested company ist requested to express interest by sending an email to antananarivo.procurement@wfp.org indicating the name of the structure and providing the AMI response form.
