  • Hello, The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites expressions of interest from eligible companies in anticipation of a tender to establish a long-term agreement for the following services: Identification of service providersfor carrying out follow-up surveys on the activities of projects implemented by FAO in Madagascar As part of updating its database of suppliers and in order to ensure independent and transparent monitoring of development projects, emergency and resilience implementedworking in Madagascar, the FAO Representation in Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius and Seychelles invites the expression of interest from eligible entities (firms, service providers, etc.) legally constituted, having during the last 5 years at least three references relevant topreferably with government structures, United Nations agencies, cooperation agencies, international NGOs, who wish to be considered in future calls for tenders and price consultation requests to carry out follow-up surveys on activities ofprojects implemented by FAO in Madagascar. Examples of surveys usually conducted by FAO include, among others: (i) baseline, (ii) mid-term evaluation, (iii) final and/or impact evaluation, (iv) capitalization of achievements, (v ) post-targeting survey of project participants, (vi) distribution monitoring, (vii) post-distribution monitoring, (viii) post-training monitoring, (ix) post-harvest monitoring/yield survey. The list is not exhaustive and additional types of surveys may be identified by FAO during the implementation of its projects. FAO will undertakea bidding exercise and will issue a solicitation document to entities that have expressed interest and provided a profile of their company by completing Annex I to this Call for Expression of Interest. Information to be shared includes: • Company status, Register oftrade, up-to-date NIF, STAT number, including documentation; • Brochures and other relevant documents on your company; • List of main customers, with references of similar experiences/activities developed, respective amounts of turnover with these customers during thefive years as indicated in the table below; • Expertise where you are best placed in relation to the activities mentioned above.
